Arena Drafting Futures - Ph. Saverio Lombardi Vallaur
On Saturday 12 April, at 12.15 p.m., the Arena Drafting Futures designed by Formafantasma (Pavilion 14) will be hosting a project in the name of social responsibility
Arper, Artemide, Bosa, Edra, Kartell, Magis, Martinelli Luce, Porro, Venini, Visionnaire. These are the names of some of the most visionary and generous companies on the international design scene. This year they are putting themselves on the line and taking part in the Fondazione AIRC charity auction, which is celebrating 60 years of commitment to supporting independent cancer research.
The Salone del Mobile.Milano is supporting the Fondazione AIRC in a special edition of Love Design®, a project that combines the world of design with science, hope and care. On Saturday 12 April at 12.15 p.m., an international online auction will be held at the Arena Drafting Futures designed by Formafantastama (Pavilion 14), which is hosting the Salone 2025’s dense cultural program, with the support of Finarte.
The lots put up for bidding will be objects that bring more than just a signature or a form; they are fragments of stories, the visions of those who conceived them by putting life at the center. An extraordinary opportunity for all enthusiasts to try to gain one of the exclusive design objects made available by the leading brands in the sector, which have chosen to support the Fondazione AIRC to contribute to the growth and training of many young talents in cancer research. Because design, when it's true, transforms lives.
Lots will be independently closed from 3 pm on 18 April at one-minute intervals

In memory of Robert Wilson
The famous American artist has left us at the age of 83. The Salone del Mobile.Milano had the honor of working with him during its 63nd edition, hosting “Mother”, with music by Arvo Pärt, at Museo della Pietà Rondanini – Castello Sforzesco, and with the official opening evening at La Scala entitled "The Night Before. Object Chairs Opera"
