Everything you need to know about visiting the fair for people with disabilities and specific needs
Entry ticket and Accessibility Pass
For visitors with disabilities and their carers (where required for visit support purposes), the Salone del Mobile.Milano provides for:
- free entry tickets to the trade fair
- Accessibility Passes enabling queues to be jumped at the tills in some of the catering facilities at Fiera Milano. Carers may only use Accessibility Passes when accompanying people with disabilities.
Ticket Desks: Free Entry Tickets and Accessibility Passes
Free tickets and Accessibility Passes can be collected from the ticket desks in all the trade fair Reception areas: Porta Est/East Gate, Porta Sud/South Gate, Porta Ovest/West Gate and Reception in Pavilions 1/3. They will be distinguished as follows:
- Porta Est/East Gate: Accessibility Pass desk at Reception at the external arrival area at Fiera Milano
- Porta Sud/South Gate: Quick Ticket desk at Reception inside Porta Sud/South Gate
- Porta Ovest/West Gate: Quick Ticket desk in the external Reception on Floor +1 of Porta Ovest/West Gate (there is a lift from street level)
- Reception Pavs. 1/3: Quick Ticket desk at Reception leading to Pavs. 1/3
All the dedicated ticket desks for visitors with disabilities are easily accessible via a dedicated lane, designated Red Lane - Accessibility Pass.
In order to make use of the benefits listed above, people with disabilities are required to carry and be prepared to display at the ticket desks a document certifying their disability status (e.g. European Disability Card or other valid document certifying disability).
Pregnant women may also apply for Accessibility Passes at the above desks once they have paid for their entry tickets to the Salone.
How to use Accessibiity Passes
Accessibility Passes allow holders to jump the queues at the following catering facilities at Fiera Milano:
- all the bars inside the pavilions
- in the self-service facilities along Corso Italia/Ponte dei Mari:
- Restaurant Italia – Corso Italia – on the left of the Reception of pav. 6/10
- Bistrot Milano – Ponte dei Mari – in front of pav. 4
- Bottega – Corso Italia – on the right of the Reception of pav. 14/18
- Ciao – Corso Italia – on the left of the Reception of pav. 22/24
- in the bars on Corso Italia:
- Bianchi – Corso Italia – on the left of the Reception of pav. 2/4
- Briciole- Corso Italia – in front of pav. 3
- La Piè – Corso Italia – near the entrance to the Service Centre
- Antica Focacceria S. Francesco - Corso Italia – near the entrance to the Service Centre
- The Red Counter Toraldo – Corso italia - in front of pav. 5
- Vergnano - Corso Italia – on the left of the Reception of pav. 13/15
Priority Pass holders are also entitled to priority access to the Salone del Mobile Arena for the Talks Drafting Futures. Conversations about Next Perspectives.
Please Note: priority will be allocated by the staff in charge, according to the availability of places at the various Talks.
Access to the stands of exhibiting companies
All the exhibiting companies taking part in the event with their own stands will use their own criteria to manage the queues for accessing their stands. The Salone del Mobile.Milano invites companies to allow visitors with disabilities and Accessibility Pass holders to skip the queues to access their stands. It is up to the companies whether or not they choose to take up this invitation from the Salone del Mobile.Milano.
Mobility Aids
The Fiera Milano Mobility Centre provides a rental service for manual wheelchairs and electric mobility scooters.
If required, these should preferably be booked online, prior to arrival at the event, via the following link: Mobility - Booking (mobilitycenter.it).
Parking
There are disabled spaces in all the car parks outside Fiera Milano:
- the closest car park to Porta Est /East Gate is the P4 car park
- the closest car park to Porta Sud/South Gate is the P3 car park.
In order to take advantage of free parking, the following procedure must be followed:
tickets must be collected at the entrance to the car park
tickets will be annuled at one of the FierAccessibile Desks.
These desks are located:
- at the Fiera Milano office Reception in Porta Sud/South Gate
- at Reception in Pavilions 1/3
- at the APCOA office (car park manager) on the 2nd floor of the PM1 multistorey car park.

Getting there by public transport
Fiera Milano, Rho is served by the following methods of public transport:
- Underground (metro) Red Line, Rho Fiera stop
- By train, Rho Fiera station
Underground
The Rho Fiera metro stop is accessible by lift.
The underground turnstiles lead to the Porta Est/East Gate of the fairgrounds via an accessible pedestrian path.

If you also use Milan’s surface transport services, you can check on the ATM app whether the stops you are interested in, and the vehicles serving them, are accessible
Train
The Rho Fiera railway station is accessible by people with disabilities.
To get to the Porta Est/East Gate fairground entrance, there is a long, flat underpass to the Red Line underground turnstiles; then from there you go up to ground level.
There are no barriers along the route, which takes about 15 minutes. There are moving walkways in some sections.
