messika

The world’s most celebrated temple of design has chosen Messika as the only jewelry Maison to exhibit at its prestigious fair, a distinction that recognizes Messika as a modern High Jewelry House and marks a first for Salone del Mobile.

Alongside its historic local partner Pisa 1940, one of the most renowned references in fine jewelry and watches in Italy, Messika brings its universe and creations to the heart of Fiera Milano Rho for an unforgettable week.

Conceived as a fully immersive architectural environment, the boutique translates the French Maison’s codes into volume, light, and rhythm. The Move motif structures the architecture through sweeping arched vitrines, while Messika’s signature purple unfolds in subtle gradients across walls, carpet, and illuminated displays.

At the back, a more intimate salon emerges. Bathed in deep purple tones and anchored by a crystalline chandelier, the space offers a private setting to discover the Maison’s High Jewelry creations.

Echoing the spirit of design that defines Salone del Mobile, the installation is conceived not as a boutique, but as a living expression of Messika’s creative language. Each element reflects the Maison’s approach to jewelry: structured, architectural, and in constant motion.

The boutique presents a curated selection of Fine and High Jewelry, revealing the breadth of Messika’s savoir-faire, from the precision of stone setting to the fluidity of its iconic motifs.

At its center, Messika unveils a live creative journey dedicated to the So Move Rainbow necklace from its latest High Jewelry collection Terres d’Instinct.

From the first sketch to the final piece, visitors are invited to discover the full arc of creation: Valérie Messika’s inspirations, the hand-drawn sketches and mood-board, the pairing of colored gemstones, and atelier expertise.

A composition of 24 sapphire and ruby hues, sourced and assembled over months to achieve a seamless chromatic gradation, The So Move Rainbow embodies the elevation of Messika’s iconic Move motif through the vibrancy of color, a first for the 20th anniversary of the Maison’s The pavé-set diamonds punctuate the colored gemstones in a balance of precision and movement.

Extending beyond the fair, the experience continues in the city through Messika’s historic partner, Pisa 1940. Their Milan boutique hosts a dedicated presentation echoing the installation, featuring a selection of Fine and High Jewelry creations, including the Italian premiere of the So Move Max collection.

“Salone del Mobile has always been a source of inspiration for me. Being invited as the first jewelry Maison to exhibit here is a meaningful moment. It reflects our vision of jewelry as a form of design, where structure, light, and movement come together.”

On the façade, lightboxes reveal the new Messika campaign featuring Maison Ambassador Julianne Moore, wearing Move Noa creations. Presented exclusively for Salone del Mobile, the visuals introduce it ahead of its early April launch.

With this experiential boutique developed exclusively for Milan’s global design week, Messika affirms its singular position at the intersection of high jewelry, design, and contemporary culture.
