Rift draws inspiration from nature, defining itself as a compact volume marked by an irregular fracture that reveals its luminous core.
The exterior, cast in aluminum, features an uneven texture reminiscent of stone — a living, vibrant surface that is never decorative, capable of capturing light in constantly shifting ways and intensifying the dialogue between shadow and relief. Each facet reflects the making process, and every imperfection becomes part of its language. Inside, the cut opens onto a satin bronze metal, warm and deep. The contrast is radical: mineral opacity on the outside, enveloping light within, reflecting and multiplying to generate a charged atmosphere. The fracture becomes a deliberate design gesture; the material expresses its primal force, and light emerges as the active nucleus of the project. Rift asserts itself in space as a sculpture inhabited by light — an incised volume that transforms tension into identity.
