Exhibitions Snapshots from the design community at Salone del Mobile 2022 Add to bookmarks Philippe Starck at Salone del Mobile.Milano 2022, ph. Luca Quagliato Many designers visited Salone del Mobile 2022, took photos and shared them with their followers. Here are some images from the fair, including portraits, bright compositions and a few selfies! You can visit Salone del Mobile on social media too: during the fair from 7 to 12 June, many designers came to see the furniture they worked on all year, for the companies they collaborate with, finally presented to everyone. The result is a great mix of established names, new faces and international brands. Tekla Evelina Severin, Scandinavian colorist who shapes interiors by balancing their nuances, posted a portrait of herself at the Sancal booth, where she designed the whole set up: a comfortable and welcoming home environment, like an 56-square-meter apartment of green, light blue and contrasting mustard, whole areas in terracotta red, and a terrazzo floor that reaches up into wall paneling. It is the French designer’s original, eclectic and nomadic way to celebrate the Pop aesthetic. This year, they revisited their Petale chair for Expormim interpreting the seduction of spring and bringing to life a Mediterranean oasis, designed to embrace conviviality during the long, summer days. For Wall&Decò, this textile designer with a penchant for palettes, patterns and linear elements imagined a hyper-graphic wallpaper – selected by Freifrau Manufaktur for the Salone del Mobile booth. What better opportunity for a selfie at the fair?
