From outer Space is the cross disciplinary initiative through which Anna Paola Buonanno and Piergiorgio Italiano bring to life their collaborative practice, aimed at exploring the economic, social and environmental dynamics by designing spaces. 

Research into exhibition possibilities is at the heart of theoretical and professional activities at the studio, which recently oversaw exhibition projects for Marséll Paradise, Edicola Radetzky and Dropcity. 

Journalist. After studying Communication Science, Marta Galli worked in qualitative market research and trend analysis,  and then for a fashion brand before joining Muse, an independent fashion magazine, where she was latterly in charge of content coordination. She’s worked freelance for newspapers for years, writing about customs, fashion and design – amongst other things, and has been a regular contributor to AD Italia, Vogue Italia, Panorama and Icon Design. She lives in Milan, sometimes in Rome.

First you explore and experience, and only then do you report. This three-pronged approach has served as Antonella Galli’s mantra throughout her career as a journalist and editorial consultant. Her passion for design and her close ties to the industry date back twenty years. Though born and bred in the Emilia region, Antonella lives in Milan and contributes to the furniture & design pages of Italy’s Il Sole 24 Ore newspaper, also covering architecture and town planning. Her articles have appeared in Interni, Grazia, Il Venerdì di Repubblica, Bell'Italia and Bell'Europa.

Laura Ghigliazza is a Milanese photo editor. She’s been coming up with original ways of keeping herself afloat since 1995. Over the last few years, after studying photography, she’s worked with various publishing concerns, such as Vogue Italia, at the Photo Festival; I-D Italy, doing interviews and photographic research; Open Edition Gallery, creating weekly columns; Cartography Magazine, organising online content and the Reading Room, for the sheer pleasure of feasting her eyes. 

Italian photographer and filmmaker, based in Milan. Giulio Ghirardi graduated in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 2013 after completing a three-year degree in Architecture in Strasbourg, France. His photographs and films, largely focused on architecture, interiors and portraiture, apparently free of artifice and natural-looking, follow a documentary style, taking inspiration directly from life. He tends to work in series, exploring spaces and people through the medium of both analogue and digital photography.

Freelance journalist based in London, she has become specialised in the digital world by following the development of web-based content for over 15 years. She has contributed to international publications such as Elle Decor, Domus, Icon Design, Living - Corriere della Sera, Casamica, AtCasa and Artemest, largely on technology, innovation and current affairs. She is truly passionate about design that dialogues with the present and anticipates the challenges of the future.

I currently live in Milan and studied photography at the IED Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan and at the Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst in Zurich.

Massimiliano Gioni is the Edlis Neeson Artistic Director of the New Museum and the director of the Trussardi Foundation in Milan.

He has curated numerous international exhibitions and biennials including the 55th Venice Biennale (2013), the 8th Gwangju Biennale (2010), the 1st New Museum Triennial (co-curated with Lauren Cornell and Laura Hoptman in 2009), the 4th Berlin Biennale (co-curated with Maurizio Cattelan and Ali Subotnick in 2006) and Manifesta 5 (co-curated with Marta Kuzma in 2004).

(b. 1989, NY, NY). She grew up in and around photo studios and photography in New York and Italy, eventually moving to Milan at age 18 to be a photo assistant. After a few years of assisting, Adrianna started working on her own for magazines and brands in the fields of interiors, food, architecture, travel, art and fashion. After ten years of living in Europe, Adrianna returned to her hometown to live and work.

Goren is an architect and interior designer, living and working in Milan Born in Ankara, she moved to Italy at the age of 22 following her passion for Italian culture, language and history Her studies have followed an interdisciplinary and international path, with years at METU in Ankara, the University of Bologna and, finally, Milan’s Polytechnic where she graduated with a thesis titled “Syntax Form in Architecture”.  

Adelina Greca has graduated from the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. She has followed post-graduate studies in the Department of Urban Planning, the Urban Design Program at the same university. Adelina has an extensive experience in planning and public sector. She worked as an architect and urban planner at the Municipality of Tirana from 2003 until 2011. She has worked in a number of managing and executive positions during her tenure at the Municipality of Tirana.

Based in Milan, his creative experience started at age 13, studying 5 years in the artistic school of Busto Arsizio, where he was born in 1992. He decided to continue his studies by progressing to the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milano, studying product and interior design. 

Marva Griffin was born in Venezuela, and Milan became her city of adoption when, in the seventies, she started to work in the field of design and furnishing.
She began her career as PR communication at what was then the C&B Italia company (now B&B Italia), working with Piero Ambrogio Busnelli, owner and chairman of the company.

She became the correspondent/representative in Italy for a number of Conde Nast Publications: French Maison & Jardin, Vogue Decoration, American House & Garden and American Vogue. 

Born in Milan, he worked as an educator with minors in group homes and schools for over 10 years. He then attended the Mi-Master’s course in Editorial Illustration and decided to completely devote himself to illustration. He started working with the Purple Rain Illustrators agency, which found him his first jobs overseas. He soon received several commissions from the United States, including from Google, The New Yorker, The New York Times, GQ, The Wall Street Journal, Airbnb, Penguin, Bloomberg Businessweek, Scientific American, National Public Radio, Variety.

An interior designer who studied at the Politecnico di Milano and the Rhode Island School of Design, she first joined the editorial staff of Domus in 2011 and has since worked under six Editors-in-Chief on the magazine and three on the website. After working as a freelance designer in Ghent, Belgium, and for Louis Vuitton's e-commerce concern in Brussels, she returned to Italy in 2016 to work as web editor on the Domus website (domusweb.it), for which she now oversees content.
