The installation unfolds through a dual perspective: on one side, the shop windows offer an almost voyeuristic glimpse into domestic life; on the other, visitors are invited to step inside and move through the spaces, discovering how Kartell accompanies every moment of the day, making it more practical, colorful, and unique.

During Milan Design Week, the Marazzi showroom in Milan at Via Borgogna 2—recently refurbished by ACPV Architects—hosts a renewed installation that conveys a contemporary vision of ceramics. Conceived as a place for meeting and conviviality, the space opens onto a large window dominated by a generous communal table that becomes the focal point of the setting. Around it, the showroom is organized as an environment designed for interaction and shared experience, balancing function and atmosphere. At the heart of the installation is Grande Lume, an evolution of Marazzi’s research into material and light, introducing a new project scale and reinforcing ceramics as a central element between surface, furnishing, and architecture.

On the occasion of Milan Design Week, Marazzi presents The Material Lounge at Salone del Mobile, a project designed by Il Magma that expresses a contemporary vision of ceramics. Conceived as a space to be inhabited before being visited, it is inspired by the intimate atmosphere of Japanese listening bars, where material, light, and people engage in a continuous dialogue. Slow time and sensory experience are at the heart of the project, shaping an environment designed around relationships. Within this context, Grande Lume takes center stage as an evolution of Marazzi’s research into material and light, enhancing depth, architectural continuity, and expressive potential.
