We have ten years or so in which to cut CO2 emissions by 55% compared with 1990; this is an essential target if we are to get to the end of the century without raising the temperature more than 1.5 degrees. This is perhaps the greatest challenge we could possibly face as a planet.

A meeting with the Minister for Ecological Transition on how the world of design, fairs and large-scale events can move towards ecological transition and make real difference in terms of sustainability.

Roberto Cingolani

Roberto Cingolani was born in 1961 in Milan. In 1985 he graduated in Physics and obtained his “Diploma di Perfezionamento” (PhD) in Physics at Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa.

He was staff member at the Max Planck Institute in Stuttgart and Visiting Professor at Tokyo University (Japan) and Virginia Commonwealth University (Richmond, USA).

Stefano Boeri

Stefano Boeri, architect and urban planner, is Full Professor of Urban Planning at Politecnico di Milano and Director of the Future City Lab at Tongji University in Shanghai. Since 2018 he has been President of Triennale Milano and since 2020 he has chaired the Scientific Committee of Forestami, the urban forestry project in the Milan metropolitan area.

Claudio Feltrin

Claudio Feltrin is President of Arper, a leading Italian company that creates chairs, tables, and furnishings for community, work and home.

Arper was founded in 1989 as an evolution of a leather artisan enterprise launched by the Feltrin family in the 1980s. The company, created by the father Luigi (President of Honour until his passing in 2020), together with his sons Mauro and Claudio, distinguished itself right from the start for its innovative products and state of the art processes, as well as for its international approach.
