The encounter, with the participation of international experts, explores the impact of lighting on the quality of life, human well-being and the environment, fostering a dialogue between scientific research and design practice. The training objectives include the analysis of the new frontiers of lighting design, with particular attention to the synergy between technological innovation and the needs of professionals in the sector. The aim is to provide participants with an up-to-date view of the implications of light across a broad range of applications, from human health to sustainability, promoting conscious and future-oriented design. Through the contribution of scholars and designers, the Round Table serves as a platform for exchanges of ideas between academic research and practical applications, stimulating a debate on lighting solutions that meet both commercial needs and educational and informational purposes. Architects registered with Italian CNAPPC (National Council of Architects, Planners, Landscapers and Conservationists) can earn 10 CFP by attending The Euroluce International Lighting Forum (5 CFP for Thursday, April 10th, and 5 CFP for Friday, April 11th). Access is free with a Salone del Mobile admission ticket. His explorative, artisanal approach emphasizes discovery and rigorous testing through physical models and mockups, crafting lighting environments that are both functional and deeply immersive. Working at the intersection of materials and light, Rogier has pioneered innovations such as luminous glass facades and textile-based designs for celebrities like the Black Eyed Peas and Lady Gaga.
