This was followed by publishing and research experience with Arnoldo Mondadori Editore Publishing in New York, as assistant to the Vice President and contributor to the Panorama publication. She then worked in Milan from late 1992 onwards, as an editor for the magazines Abitare and Case da Abitare. This allowed her to further her knowledge of design and architecture and to build up a professional network. She has been part of the Salone del Mobile.Milano Press and Communication Office since 2002, and at its helm from 2006 to 2012 and from 2017 to November 2019. She has been a professional journalist since 2000. She was a freelance translator for Italian and American publishing houses during the ‘90s, and in 1986 she became a licensed guide and tour manager for the Lombard Region, as well as a swimming instructor. Her motto is ‘the shortest distance between two points is an arabesque.’ Share Articles by Patrizia Malfatti Design Port: the new point of reference for interior design in Prague Stories Design Port: the new point of reference for interior design in Prague Patrizia Malfatti Two Countries, One History: German design during the Cold War Salone Selection Two Countries, One History: German design during the Cold War Patrizia Malfatti Bjarne Mastenbroek and Iwan Baan explore the foundations of architecture Stories Bjarne Mastenbroek and Iwan Baan explore the foundations of architecture Patrizia Malfatti Stories Carlo Stanga: the portrayer of cities Patrizia Malfatti Close encounters with designer dishes.
