Many of them, from Salone president Maria Porro onwards, underscore the importance of the return to exhibiting and storytelling at the Rho fairgrounds, and the fair’s unfailing synergy with the city of Milan and the satellite events. Some underlined the changing times and the need to update the Salone system, to enable it to maintain its prime global position and best represent Made in Italy. […] This issue also discusses the return of Design Week to Milan, masters such as Ambasz and Albini, and the latest creations by Pillet and Olivares. In the dossier on refurbishments, we find out how to channel a great deal of natural light into our homes, how to choose hanging bookcases and the trend for curvy furniture.” (full article) Magazine: Design (La Repubblica monthly supplement) Country: Italy Issue: February 2022 Photo: Saverio Lombardi Vallauri - courtesy of the Salone del Mobile 17 February 2022 Add to bookmarks Add to bookmarks Share
