Previews of products from the companies, insights from the designers and future scenarios as told by the leading international sectoral magazines What will we be seeing at Salone del Mobile.Milano 2022? Expectations are running at fever pitch for an event that, apart from the special Supersalone event last September, has been dark for almost three years. And that’s not just idle talk: the entire industry looks forward to this event to showcase their latest developments, ideas and partnerships, together mapping out how our lifestyles are set to evolve. From 7 to 12 June 2022, companies and designers will be bringing their last few years’ work to Rho Fiera. Although the physical doors open in two months’ time, we are already offering a simple way to get up to speed about what to expect, by tuning in and checking out the content on salonemilano.it and the Salone’s digital channels. The official virtual curtain goes up on new product releases on 7 April, with a selection of previews, in-depth articles, a photo gallery, interviews and dedicated videos on the website and social media. In the run-up to the show, the Salone del Mobile.Milano has been asking companies, architects, designers and trade magazines to team up with us for the upcoming show, which also happens to be a special anniversary – the Fair’s sixtieth edition. Many leading design world figures have heeded the call and contributed to this unprecedented collective effort. The benefits of this fascinating dialogue will be clear to all. During April and May, salonemilano.it is the place to go to find out what direction world design is headed after the long pandemic years. Every week will be dedicated to a different category, starting with tables, chairs and the office, and continuing with upholstered furniture, bathrooms, kitchens, beds and wardrobes, and last but not least, accessories and outdoors.
