The key to the atmosphere of the Straf Hotel is the way that the architect Vincenzo De Cotiis has used materials. Concrete floors, brass bathrooms, split slate and aged gauze enclosed between panes of glass to create self-illuminating elements evoke a warm atmosphere and a mood of relaxation in relation to the materials of industrial origin.
