Combining functionality with a new domestic aesthetic. Waiting for EuroCucina 2026, a selection of kitchens that make marble their hallmark

A symbol of elegance and refinement, natural marble or its variants featuring materials such as porcelain stoneware, marbled composite quartz and marbled laminates, continue to be among the most popular materials in modern kitchen design. Combining aesthetics and functionality, it has evolved from a practical material to a strikingly scenographic element. The use of marble-effect materials that ensure a sophisticated appearance but also extensive resistance to stains, scratches and heat is on the rise in 2026. As part of this development, EuroCucina is a favoured showcase for observing the various evolutions of marble, the protagonist of a new domestic harmony.

A sophisticated and welcoming style with colour contrasts in powder tones. The GEA door was created from research by Arrex, in 5 recyclable finishes and a selection of lacquered colours collected in 4 moods: Air, Water, Earth and Fire. With glossy and reflective surfaces, open-fronted shelving units with a living-room aesthetic and Pet Slate finish. Magneto-Glass luminous splashback in glossy white glass with integrated LEDs. Countertop in Fior di Pesco marble. The colours are inspired by the mineral world, with compact natural surfaces or bright and crystalline surfaces.

The custom-made kitchen from the Atelier line by Abimis perfectly matches a project that sees La Baita at La Thuile, on the French border of Val D'Aosta, redesigned in a contemporary key. An exclusive combination of different materials featuring a top in White Carrara Marble. Endowing the kitchen with warmth, wooden cladding with a woven micro-texture.

A mix of beauty, functionality and Italian craftsmanship characterizes Bluna Tech Alluminio from Binova, an island combining MDF doors faced in a PET foil with a Burnished Aluminium finish, with a fine top in Levanto Red Natural Stone. The island's worktop features a red ground with a tracery of white veining and green shades.

Poetica is the new furnishing system from Scavolini, designed by Vuesse in a contemporary style that combines classic elements with modern materials: stoneware, glass and marble characterise the worktop. Composition with an island equipped with Maxidoor doors in Stopsol Acciaio glass and kitchen top in Fusion White porcelain stoneware. In the background, a composition with wooden frame doors in Rice Ash and Vertical System woodwork in Fusion White porcelain stoneware.

The DT01 model from Del Tongo combines ergonomics, technology and contemporary design, expanding the function of the kitchen. Volumetric rigor, balanced voids and solids with a strong architectural presence in the space. An interplay of light and shade enhances the surfaces and the material, so that the kitchen does more than just furnishing, but can divide rooms and create new ones.

Stemming from the partnership between Febal Casa and Zaha Hadid Architects, Isola Onda is the fulcrum of the kitchen space. The worktop and sides can be customised by choosing the finishes and materials from the top-end range, in harmony with the base available in materials such as Gres, Abitum, Laminam, Neolith, Optimum and Laminate.

A timeless kitchen that evolves with those who choose it, Infinity is the Stosa collection created from the encounter between volumes, colours, materials and functional elements. The top and back panel in Black Gold HPL harmonise with the Ombra Malta doors. The Shelf extractor hood, with a customised ribbed bronze front, resonates with the bronzed tones of the groove handle and plinth.

With a linear design and minimalist styling, the Isla kitchen by Colombini in the 01 composition combines aesthetics, practicality and comfort. Materials and thicknesses create refined combinations: the laminate top with natural elm finish meets Calacatta marble, the surface with a diamond profile gives an elegant and modern effect without sacrificing the quality of the materials.

The lightweight and modular structures of Very Simple Kitchen combine steel with technical and sustainable solutions. The kitchen countertops are made of marble, dolomite or granite, sturdy, heat-resistant materials. Among the possible combinations: Nero Marquina and Bianco Carrara striped marble, Rosso Levanto marble and Rosa Portogallo. Alboris marble, Calacatta marble, Rugged Concrete quartz, and Terrazzo. Each slab tells a unique story, thanks to its distinctive veining and organic patterns.

A large central island featuring a striking monolithic top in matte Cipollino Green marble. The Vela kitchen from Mediterraneo Interior blends natural materials and integrated technology. The marble top of the island slides away with a remote-controlled mechanism, revealing a large sink with double taps at the sides. At the centre is the induction cooktop, surmounted by an extractor hood covered by a marble “sail”. A true inhabitable sculpture.
