The armchair Necchi sofa, design by Andrea Bonini, reflects the architect's creative flair and design signature with a rigorous sofa framed by a leather-covered structure.
Born as a natural evolution of the Necchi sofa collection, the armchair Necchi encapsulates its elegance in a more compact and intimate form. Designed for those who appreciate sophistication in every detail, this armchair enhances its sculptural presence through a seamless balance of structure and softness. Its compact dimensions magnify the refined craftsmanship, drawing attention to the leather base that extends to embrace the front of the armrests. This continuous design element enriches its aesthetic with tailoring expertise: luxury meets functionality in perfect harmony. A true statement of class, the Necchi armchair is more than just a seating piece—it is an icon of contemporary elegance, where comfort and refinement coexist in a symphony of timeless design.

Design should reflect intellectual honesty and respect for the past, without being overly influenced by passing fads. Today more than ever, continuous research and, above all, study must be fundamental; for an Italian designer, in particular, I believe that studying our architectural tradition or the works of the great masters is essential for gaining clear inspiration that is also capable of looking to the future.
