The origin of the "Italian Renaissance" design, made of opulent embossing, comes from the period of great cultural and humanist changes between the 14th and 16th centuries.
Italian Renaissance required particularly meticulous and delicate work done by hand on plaster in the workshops of the manufacture Raynaud, to sculpt, engrave and tame this sumptuous vegetal motif.
