We have scoped some recurring trends among the stands of the sector’s leading companies at the trade fair. The sea has proved an almost ubiquitous inspiration, whether through bringing typical nautical elements onto terra firma or by playing with the stylistic features of Mediterranean architecture, while weaving and craftsmanship still reign supreme
Talenti Home: the system for contemporary living
Collezione Home, Talenti
With the new Home catalogue, Talenti develops a system of furnishings, accessories and integrated systems. A project that interprets the home as a space in transformation, overcoming the traditional boundaries between living room, sleeping quarters and the spaces for work and socializing
The Talenti Home collections are part of a unified story. In addition to the In&Out, Elton and Rayle lines, new products are added here — from the Whitney armchair to the Paul desk, the Switch bookcase and the Charlie bedside tables — and entwined with products already present in the firm’s catalogue. Confirming the company's desire to create a continuous dialogue between interior and exterior, some outdoor products such as Panama, Venice and Salinas are redesigned in an interior key.
Elton: comfort that evolves with those who experience it
The Elton system rests on transformability. Movable armrests and backs make for different configurations, following the use through the day. The sofa becomes a central feature of the living room, combining function, customization and configurability.
Alma: continuity between interiors
If Elton is dynamism, Alma is design continuity. Designed as a living system, it is a real home ecosystem that extends to the sleeping quarters. The structure of the sofa is echoed in the headboard of the bed, ensuring consistency between the products. The transition between functions comes about seamlessly, building an environment dedicated to rest.
Paco and Soul: modular systems
Paco is a modular sofa system based on compact volumes and spacious seats. Variable configurations adapt to different spaces.
Soul’s approach is centered on the seat: sectional modules, soft surfaces and flexible compositions.
Both systems define space through their structure.
Complements as design elements
In the Talenti Home project, furnishing accessories join in the definition of space. If the Grace armchair introduces a compact and elegantly proportioned seat, Panama is devised as a leather reinterpretation of the nautical rope armchair from the outdoor collection designed by Ludovica Serafini + Roberto Palomba, inserting it in indoor settings.
Alongside armchairs, dining sets and modular systems, Talenti Home launches coffee tables, poufs, storage units and consoles, such as the Mick, Hydra and Bessie collections, with a transversal character, designed to be combined with each other through materials and finishes.
Each element can be used individually or in composition. The forms and materials create continuity between the rooms, where the living room, study and sleeping quarters develop as parts of a single system.
An open-ended system
With Talenti Home, the company defines a system that develops over time, in an approach based on the relations between products.
The house is interpreted as an evolving space, built through coordinated elements.
