Ombres et Facettes

Since 1994, the founders of Ombres et Facettes have been passionate about exceptional pieces of decorative arts. The Ombres et Facettes store is located in a small village in the Loire Valley, between Blois and Orleans, near Chambord Castle

Concerned with producing exceptional pieces, we work primarily on a bespoke basis. In close collaboration with architects and decorators, we adapt our works to the places they are intended for, to best meet your expectations and enhance the space

The chandlery's activities revolve around three areas: the creation, re-edition and restoration of illuminations.

Our creations are directly inspired by the traditions of bronze and the great names of crystal chandeliers of the early 18th century, the 19th century, Boulle, Thomire and many others. A period of splendor for the French court, whose hall of mirrors at Versailles inaugurated its radiance throughout Europe, the 18th century indeed marks a moment of apogee for the art of the chandelier.

Adapting our creations to current tastes, we reinterpret classic models based on archival materials or selecting our ideas from photographs of antique models. We also create contemporary models, mixing craftsmanship and a taste for noble materials with modern lines and designs
