Founded in 1980, Linie Design is a Danish design house rooted in Scandinavian traditions and one of Europe’s largest developers of handmade rugs.
Combining our heritage and values with traditional craftsmanship, con¬temporary aesthetics, and uncompromising quality, we create rugs designed to last. Our commitment to trust and transparency ensures excellence throughout our supply chain, spanning over 70 countries.
Our designs are handmade in India by skilled artisans and predominantly crafted from natural, renewable materials like wool, cotton, and linen. Each rug’s individual characteristics are defined by the specific weaving, tufting or knotting techniques. Depending on the intricacy of the design, an artisan can spend weeks or even months finishing a rug.
