Maddalena Fossati, journalist, author, and TV format curator, Maddalena Fossati has helped reshape the narrative of Italian food through a cultural, curious, contemporary, and sustainable lens. Since 2017, she has been the director of La Cucina Italiana, a famous magazine started in 1929 in Milan. She was also the lifestyle editor for Vanity Fair. In 2020, she launched the idea to nominate Italian cuisine as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. She successfully led the campaign to its official recognition in New Delhi on December 10, 2025, a journey she recently shared in her book Prendo fiato, published by Maretti Editore.
