Magazines from the world The Salone del Mobile is on... Brazil’s Gazeta do Povo magazine The Salone del Mobile is on... Brazil’s Gazeta do Povo magazine Salone clippings: Gazeta do Povo, the Brazilian newspaper that celebrated its centenary in 2019, shares the news about “supersalone” in its Haus column, “one of the foremost sources of inspiration on architecture, urban planning and interior design in Brazil.” Fernanda Massarotto, the Milan-based correspondent of the Brazilian newspaper, attended the “supersalone” press presentation. While she was there, she asked the architect Stefano Boeri, curator of this special event, for his thoughts and impressions: “What really fired me up was the challenge. Obviously I only took it on after discussing it with an outstanding team. What I can say is that the Salone is part of the history and the culture of this city, which is where I was born and grew up. I thought it was really worthwhile. I can say that it will be a special edition, because it won’t be on the scale of previous years. But it will be a Super Salone, as I announced. The name was chosen precisely because it stems from our strength and our will to survive. It will be an edition that channels some major qualities, such as courage, optimism and confidence.” Credits: Original text: Fernanda Massarotto Photo: courtesy of Salone del Mobile Magazine: HAUS | Gazeta do Povo Publisher: Editora Gazeta do Povo Read full article 19 August 2021 Add to bookmarks Add to bookmarks Share
