A record also for the operators with +28.6% presences With record-breaking numbers, the 62nd edition of the Salone del Mobile closed with +20.2% over 2023. The event confirmed itself as an international reference point for a key sector for the economy, sustainable innovation, and the future of home living. Featured this year were the Biennial events EuroCucina / FTK, Technology For the Kitchen and the International Bathroom Exhibition, two representative sectors that testify to continuous experimentation, innovation in forms and processes, continuing aesthetic research and a sustainable approach. To this was added a cultural programme and three installations devised to represent the state of the art of the industry or reflect on the physical and emotional value of interiors. The numbers reflect the success of the 2024 edition of the event: 1,950 exhibitors from 35 countries and total attendance of 370,824 (+110,000 over 2022). The attendance of operators recorded +28.6%, with 65.6% coming from abroad. Media attendance is also growing: there were 5,552 accredited journalists and communication operators for a total of 6,976 attendees (49.8% from abroad). The number of Italian and foreign students stood at 14,683, of whom 9,066 were Italian (+35.9%), for an overall average growth of 28.6%. Salone del Mobile.Milano's digital channels represent a veritable extension of the event, with a constantly growing community: over 1 million interactions (+50% vs 2023) with an engagement rate of 60%, and 90 million impressions (+15% vs 2023). The website recorded +33%; excellent results of the app in terms of use of services, from matchmaking which recorded a growth of over 39%, and navigation of the interactive map, with over 450,000 searches. From the point of view of publications, the average reach of Italian publications stands at 1283 billion, while the mentions total 4.66 million.
