Libre is a collection of seating that interacts naturally with the human body and the surrounding space, thanks to an essential design shaped by a deeply human imprint
“My intention is to give this design the lightness of air, with a style capable of existing naturally in any space: sientate LIBRE, sientete LIBRE" – Eugeni Quitllet. In Libre, form and function revolve around ergonomics, ensuring maximum comfort within a compact well-proportioned monoblock side chair and armchair. The seat and backrest appear as two distinct elements, precisely set within a fluid and harmonious frame that rises seamlessy from the legs and extends upwards in a continuous gesture, embracing them. The armrest reinforces this sense of continuity and visual balance. The rounded geometry of the seat and backrest recalls the softness of an upholstered pad, while maintaining the material honesty. Gas air moulding technology enables slim profiles while ensuring high structural strength. The soft shapes and organic lines of Libre recall the language of traditional bentwood seating, reinterpreted in a contemporary way. The integrated openings, while echoing this formal heritage, also ensure an easy grip from different angles and facilitate maintenance, making the collection suitable for both outdoor and indoor use. Thanks to its harmonious design, universal form and matt finishes that enhance the surfaces, Libre integrates easily into any space and style.
