We are one is a Carpet Edition collection born from the idea of Roberta Mari and Silvia Zylberman Pio. Six rugs are inspired by the shapes of arrows used by Amazon peoples and their body paintings.

To contribute towards defending the lives and lands of indigenous peoples, a percentage of each rug sold will be donated to Survival International, the global movement for tribal peoples.

Why tribal peoples?

The annihilation of tribal peoples is one of the most urgent humanitarian crises of our time: Industrialized societies subject them to genocidal violence, slavery and racism so they can steal their lands, resources and labor in the name of “progress.” The world needs tribal peoples. They are the best guardians of the natural world and have a unique understanding of sustainable living.

Why Survival International?

Because its mission is to prevent the annihilation of tribal peoples by helping them to defend their lives, protect their lands and determine their own futures. To guarantee its integrity and independence, Survival refuses government money, relying on donations from members of the public and fundraising initiatives to fund its urgent work. For each rug sold, a percentage of the price will be donated to Survival.
