Sheraton: a design icon, a timeless classic.
Sheraton, 1977, Design Lodovico Acerbis e Giotto Stoppino
Reflecting Giotto Stoppino and Lodovico Acerbis’s role as a leading exponent of modern Italian design, the Sheraton sideboard combines a sleekly groundbreaking shape with innovative functionality.
Designed by Giotto Stoppino and Lodovico Acerbis, Sheraton combines formal elegance and design innovation in a sideboard that has left its mark on the history of Italian design. Awarded the Compasso d’Oro in 1979 for its innovative sliding-rotating opening system, which allows the doors to open completely, Sheraton entered the permanent collection of London’s Victoria and Albert Museum. Its glossy lacquer finishes and two available lengths, 180 and 280 cm, make it a versatile piece of remarkably contemporary appeal.
