Lorenzi Milano srl

Lorenzi Milano

Lorenzi Milano combines craftsmanship and tradition to make the most out of materials of unmatched beauty such as horn, bamboo, wood, mother of pearl, used also for custom-made projects, as in the best tradition of the Made in Italy.

Lorenzi Milano is a company that passes on the expertise and the passion of a whole family to create valuable products, so original and unique, designed to be long lasting and to grow old together with the people who bought them: things to love, to maintain and even repair, if necessary, to pass on to younger generations as if they were little treasures for everyday life.

Our collections stem from skillful crafting, care for the detail and respect for complex and delicate materials that only the hands of the most experienced craftsmen can shape with confidence and mastery.

Lorenzi Milano is one of those precious realities that make up the unique web of skilled Milanese workmanship. A story indissolubly linked to the historic Via Montenapoleone, a street at the heart of the myth and customs of Milanese fashion as described by journalists and writers Indro Montanelli, Camilla Cederna and Orio Vergani. A creative wave, culminating between the 50s and the early 70s, in the economic boom of design and culture. In other words, well before the universal explosion of the phenomenon of Milanese fashion during the following decade. But at the same time, Lorenzi Milano is an adventure nurtured by ancient roots that originated among the mountains surrounding a valley in Trentino.

Lorenzi Milano Today

Now the products are all made in the Via Morimondo workshops, located in an area of longstanding craft development once occupied by the factories of Richard Ginori, overlooking the Navigli. The workforce of experienced artisans was purposely trained to carry out this new project. They are the core of the reinvention of a heritage recognized and appreciated throughout the world.

The shop opening

Lorenzi Milano represents the fourth generation of the Lorenzi family, the same one that opened the historic bottega on Via Montenapoleone under the name G. Lorenzi in 1929. Over the years, the shop became an important reference point to the Milanese, and a must-visit location for the brand’s devoted international clientele.

The baton has been taken by Mauro Lorenzi, a member of the family’s third generation, who has created his own brand following the same consolidated track. Mauro has been committed to carrying on the family business continuing to serve its historic clientele through a new company, embodying the epitome of Made-in-Italy traditions, uniting craftsmanship and innovation. His new enterprise proudly bears the Lorenzi Milano name and in the 2019 he opened a new atelier located in the historical Palazzo Bolchini, framed by the elegant, noble buildings of beautiful Piazza Meda, site of Arnaldo Pomodoro’s famous bronze disc.
