Assistant Professor in Architecture, Consultant in Sustainable Architecture and Cultural Heritage
Noura Ghabra is a Sustainable Architecture Consultant and Assistant Professor at King AbdulAziz University, specializing in environmental design and heritage conservation. She has contributed to the Historic Jeddah Rehabilitation Project, focusing on the assessment and preservation of heritage buildings. In 2023, she was awarded the UNESCO–Kingdoms Institute Fellowship, where she conducted advanced research on climate resilience and the environmental performance of heritage architecture in AlUla. In 2025, she was recognized among Saudi Arabia’s most influential women and featured in Expo 2025 Osaka’s “Her Influence” exhibition and ALIPH’s “Portraits of Women Preserving Heritage.” Her work centers on sustainability, energy efficiency, and safeguarding cultural heritage.
