Landscape architect
Lulu Almana is a landscape architect based in Saudi Arabia and the co-founder of Maghras: A Farm for Experimentation (est. 2024 with Sara Al Omran), a farm, research hub, and community space in Al Ahsa that explores the intersections of ecology, cultural practices, and local knowledge. With over twelve years of experience in London, Istanbul, and Abu Dhabi, Lulu’s practice spans from community parks to large urban landscapes, focusing on urban regeneration and ecological restoration. She led the newly published Urban Transformation Manual for the Saudi Architecture and Design Commission, and in 2023, advised the Vice Minister of MOMAH on the national parks strategy—contributing to shaping Saudi Arabia’s evolving landscape and public space agenda.
