Italian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Carlo Baldocci has been the Italian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since September 2024. Since February 2025, he has also served as non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen. He graduated with honors in Law from the University of Rome "La Sapienza" in 1990 and joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1992. During his career, he served at the Italian Embassy in Tehran and the Italian Embassy in Washington. He then served for ten years as Diplomatic Advisor to the Ministry of Economy and Finance. In 2015, he was seconded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP). From 2019 to 2023, he was the Italian Ambassador to the State of Kuwait.
