Delicate interiors, with a flavour of earth and the countryside, in which wood, raw textiles and white ceramics pervade the hyper-natural spaces designed by Emmanuelle Simon, the Franco-Israeli interior architect and designer based in Paris since 2017. Relaxing environments, with organic forms and neutral colours as their leitmotiv, characterise his projects, both residential and commercial, with space for deeper relaxation and wabi-sabi inspirations.

What are you working on right now? An apartment, a hotel, a boutique and a house.

Your dream project: A place of spiritual retreat, serenity and experience, immersed in nature, where each architectural element influences the mind, the feelings and the emotions, and in which each glimpse of the landscape is important, where everything is thought out in its entirety, right down to the tiniest details of the interior and the objects.

The project that’s influenced you the most: The Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana in Rome, 1938 (by Giovanni Guerrini, Ernesto La Padula, and Mario Romano).

A crucial element in all your projects: The imprint of a craftsman on the material (wood, plaster, ceramic, etc.).
