From the OMA office in Rotterdam, architect David Gianotten explores the vision behind the Masterplan for Salone Contract 2027. A project that redesigns the boundaries between architecture, integrated systems, and large international flows.

Designing for contract  projects, today, means going beyond the dimension of a single object to embrace the scale of whole systems. From OMA in Rotterdam, David Gianotten guides us through the concept he ideated with Rem Koolhaas for Salone del Mobile.Milano: a dynamic infrastructure meant to be more than an exhibition space, and closer to a veritable stock exchange for values and relationships on the global markets.
