This talk brings together leading voices from the Chinese design community to explore how new contexts are reshaping the field, in dialogue with Salone del Mobile.Milano, the world’s leading international design event, which is actively experimenting with new models that directly involve designers, galleries, buyers, and institutions on a global scale.
From experimental one-of-a-kind pieces to production models rooted in local craft, Rethinking Collectible Design reflects on how design can act as both a cultural agent and an economic force, shaping a more interconnected and plural design ecosystem.
