he Jury of the SaloneSatellite Award has chosen the five winning projects. In the 15th edition of the award, the oldest traditions won, renewed to meet the needs of contemporary design. The challenge set by the theme of the 27th edition of SaloneSatellite – Skilled Craftsmanship + Innovation – finds its response in the projects by the under-35 designers selected for the SaloneSatellite Award 2026. What unites them is a shared vision of design as a meeting ground between technological innovation and material culture. From material experimentation to digital fabrication, and through the rediscovery of the tactile and symbolic qualities of objects, an approach emerges in which technology and craftsmanship do not stand in opposition, but rather reinforce one another, shaping new expressive and production possibilities.
FIRST PRIZE
RUSSO BETAK, Denmark (Stand B13)
NIPPON
Part of the Ark collection, this pendant lamp is 3D printed with seashells and sculpted by hand. Paper-like yet self-structural, its layered sheets filter light with depth, revealing a material both rigid and fluid.
SECOND PRIZE
IOUS STUDIO, The Netherlands (Stand D17/E18)
3DP CERAMIC TILES
A ceramic cladding system where clay is 3D printed through computational control. Digital fabrication becomes a new form of craftsmanship, merging machine precision with material sensitivity and sustainable production.
THIRD PRIZE
JÜNGERKÜHN, Germany (Stand C23)
SOFT TOUCH
Soft Touch merges robotic precision with tactile craft. Porcelain vases feature patterns that are unique to every object and, combined with lively material performance, reveal more details the closer you look.
