CUT Kitchen - design by LualdiMeraldi Studio

Xera introduces CUT at Salone del Mobile. Designed by LualdiMeraldi Studio, the kitchen emerges from a single, radical gesture: the cut.

It is precisely the idea of the “cut” — a sharp, precise, controlled incision — that defines the identity of the project, visible in the inclined edges of the doors and worktop, which become the kitchen’s distinctive feature.

CUT is not just a stainless steel kitchen, but a domestic architectural object, a monolithic volume carved and crafted with millimetric precision. The metal surfaces, treated with finishes that warm their visual perception, reflect light in a soft and deep way, transforming steel into a surprisingly tactile and sophisticated material.

The project develops through pure and compact volumes: the central island, solid and sculptural, becomes the focal point of the space, while the tall unit block appears as an integrated architectural element, where technology and storage disappear behind continuous, perfectly flush surfaces. Everything is reduced to the essential, without superfluous elements, in a rigorous balance between solids, voids, and inclined surfaces.

The true complexity of the project is hidden within its apparent simplicity. The inclined edges of the doors and worktop require advanced technical manufacturing and extremely controlled production processes, becoming at the same time an expression of craftsmanship, an ergonomic detail, and the aesthetic signature of the product.

CUT therefore represents a synthesis of formal research, technical innovation, and material culture: a kitchen conceived as an architectural element, capable of dialoguing with space rather than simply furnishing it, and destined to become the visual and functional centerpiece of the contemporary domestic environment.
