Crayon, Cigar - Patricia Urquiola
Cigar & Crayon tables are part of a simple project, they are a cheerful type of product. They are very firm and have a small detail in the lower part that I really liked. Both Crayon and Cigar are simple and ironic.
They are a typology of tables with table tops of 70, 80, 90 cm, around which two people can sit: they are what we usually call coffee tables that were used in hospitality.
Little by little these products are crossing new worlds and entering the working one, where big meeting tables are slowly evolving and being replaced by smaller ones. In these small coffee tables we find the calm and tranquility of being able to work or relax on our own.

Cigar and Crayon tables, by Patricia Urquiola, are thought and designed for cafes and lounge areas, perfect for indoor and outdoor or outdoor marine environments.

The name of the collection comes from the design of the ending part of the tables: Crayon because it resembles a pencil ready to draw; Cigar instead, with its softer and rounder shape, recalls the idea of a cigar.

The base, leg and top are available in various shapes, colors and materials. The elements that form the table can be combined in countless configurations, from the monochrome version to the more colorful and ironic one, allowing versatility and project freedom. Signs and drawings of a playful design.
