Inspired by the frame of a bicycle or motorcycle, the supporting structure of Ventiquattro consists of a steel ring that generates a double tripod joined by two chains, similar to the base of a building, pushing the structural concept to the limit to achieve great solidity even in very wide lengths.

Il tavolo Ventiquattro firmato Piero Lissoni entra a far parte della collezione Porro. È costituito da un piano in cristallo extra-chiaro da 12 mm con spigoli smussati che lascia completamente a vista la struttura della base in tubolare di metallo saldato, con gambe da 8 cm di diametro, a doppio cavalletto unito da due catene: questo approccio costruttivo permette una grande solidità anche per luci molto ampie.
Viene infatti presentato in larghezza 4 metri, ma disponibile anche in larghezza 200 cm, 240 cm e 3 metri. La profondità è invece unica di 1 metro.
L’unica finitura del piano è il cristallo extrachiaro, mentre, per la base, sono state sviluppate nuove finiture su metallo, sia lucide che opache, per caratterizzarne la forma: nero, bianco, iron, silver, verde inglese, azuki.
