Thanks to the sinuous shape of the backrest and armrest panels, Nendo evokes the image of blooming flowers, or “Saki” in Japanese, from which the system takes its name.
The open air version of the organic Saki indoor seating system, designed by Nendo, is available with sleek lacquered panels, Saki Outdoor, or with panels featuring a wicker-effect woven cord design, Saki Cord Outdoor: both seating families offer a wide variety of finishes, and can be combined to give the furnishing pieces a sophisticated aesthetic and a strong personality.
The soft seat offers extreme comfort, further emphasised by enveloping back cushions, gently resting on the petal-shaped panels.
The outdoor version, perfectly consistent with the concept of modularity, offers 2, 3, or 4-seat sofa variants, elements in two different depths, armchairs with and without armrests, benches and original, particularly cosy islands conceived in different configurations, both presenting fixed curved feet or swivel bases.
The system features generous seating with a soft, rounded silhouette, finished with a perimeter piping that elegantly defines its volumes. The tailoring detail on the top of the corner cushion accentuates the profiles of the upholstery, creating a well-balanced separation and cohesion. The curved feet, in die-cast aluminium, pewter varnished, perfectly complement the enfolding and sinuous aesthetic.

The Vivienne seating system is inspired by the semicircular curved backrest of the Vivienne armchair, featuring a contemporary aesthetic designed by Italian-Danish duo GamFratesi.
An interplay of volumetric balances from which it also takes its name: Libra, in Latin, means scale.
Characterized by enveloping volumes, the Bézier Cord Outdoor seating system designs new open-air landscapes through original and unexpected configurations.
In Japan, the term “Saki” means blooming, and it is precisely to the unfolding of flower buds that Nendo pays tribute with a family of seats.
