Draga & Aurel present The Shift, an installation at Galleria Rossana Orlandi (20–26 April 2026) that reinterprets the sliding door as a visual and conceptual device. At its core, an abstract diptych by Aurel K. Basedow is intersected by lucite panels decorated by Draga Obradovic with epoxy resin. Running along parallel tracks, the surfaces slide and overlap without ever touching, transforming depth, rhythm, and perception. A role reversal unfolds: the painting becomes spatial, while the design system turns into an active agent. The work remains unchanged, yet each movement generates new configurations, making stratification a fluid language that multiplies interpretations.
