The Salone del Mobile.Milano is the world’s leading international design and furnishing fair. The 64th edition of the event, organised by Federlegno Arredo Eventi S.p.A., will take place from 21st to 26th April 2026 at Rho Fiera Milano. The Salone del Mobile.Milano showcases furniture, furnishing accessories, kitchens, bathrooms, lighting and office solutions from the foremost Italian and international companies. The fair brings together more than 1,900 exhibitors from 32 different countries, ranged over more than 169,000 square metres of net exhibition space.

The Salone del Mobile.Milano: history and figures of the design fair

Founded in 1961, the Salone del Mobile.Milano is the world’s leading furniture and design event. Under its President, Maria Porro and General Manager, Marco Sabetta, the event gives shape to its mission as an experimental hub, a meeting point, and a place for new business opportunities. 

With over 1,900 exhibitors from 32 countries and more than 169,000 square meters of net exhibition space, the 64th edition of the Salone represents the excellence of Made in Italy and international design. This is where prototypes and innovations that define future lifestyles are presented. 

The communication campaign for the 2026 edition, A Matter of Salone, explores material as the physical and symbolic origin of design: a visual narrative that combines different perspectives, devised by Motel409 and created with six exponents of contemporary creativity.

The Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026 exhibitions

The following will take place during the week of Salone 2026:

New departures for the 2026 edition include: the debut of Salone Raritas (Pavilion 9), the immersive installation Aurea, an Architectural Fiction inside A Luxury Way (Pavilions 13-15), designed by Maison Numéro 20, and a new wayfinding system conceived by Leftloft, designed to improve the visitor experience. The Salone Contract project is also taking shape, its Masterplan entrusted to Rem Koolhaas and David Gianotten (OMA), and will make its debut in April 2027.
