Monteforte, an Italian brand founded by Angelo Monteforte, is rooted in a family tradition dating back to 1974. The brand expresses contemporary furniture through collections of 100% Made in Italy polypropylene seating, designed for residential and contract environments, both indoor and outdoor, where design research, comfort and manufacturing quality reach a refined balance.
The brand’s vision is guided by Future Green Living, the creative manifesto that shapes the development of its collections. Artistic direction is entrusted to Enzo Piacquadio, architect and industrial designer with extensive international experience across architecture, industry and manufacturing. As Creative Director, Piacquadio leads product development with the aim of generating new design languages capable of engaging authentically with users, the environment and the evolving needs of the contemporary market.
Vienna stands out among the brand’s collections, a chair with strong character that embodies this vision through its distinctive feature: a light, essential backrest that organically creates a refined interplay of solids and voids. Its sinuous design transforms the chair into an element capable of entering into dialogue with the surrounding architecture.
The collection is completed by Vienna Stool, which reflects the same design language.
Nairobi stands out for the purity of its silhouette and the seamless continuity between seat and backrest. The opening at the base of the backrest introduces a distinctive detail that defines the character of the entire design. The collection also includes Nairobi Stool, conceived to maintain the same visual language across different heights.
Valencia stands out for the clarity of its profile and the balance of its proportions. The monobloc shell shapes a solid, compact form, while the opening in the backrest introduces a distinctive detail that defines its silhouette. The result is an essential and versatile chair.
Porto is defined by a wide, enveloping backrest that gives the chair its distinctive character. The woven pattern creates a light, airy surface while preserving structural strength. The collection also includes Porto Stool, which echoes the same formal identity.
Monteforte introduces a design language in which aesthetics, function and awareness coexist in full synergy. Within this vision, color becomes an integral part of the design: a broad and articulated palette that ranges from neutral and sophisticated tones to bolder, more contemporary hues.
