Since 1982, Lasunya has been a sustainable loose furniture maker and studio, crafting pieces with skilled craftsmen and craftswomen. We are the first Thai sofa brand to win Red Dot Design Award, and we are proud to contribute to the design industry.
In 2022, Lasunya became the first Thai sofa brand to receive the Red Dot Design Award for a loveseat from its Embroidery Collection. This collection, which includes a loveseat, armchair, coffee table, and side table, reinterprets traditional craftsmanship through modern design. The seating pieces feature smocking, a traditional sewing technique that creates a sculptural, textured backrest, contrasting with smooth leather interiors.
Extending its commitment to sustainability, the coffee and side tables incorporate upcycled leather bases and tabletops crafted from teak wood offcuts from sofa production.
