Botticelli Antichità & Alessandra Di Castro present a joint exhibition project at Salone Raritas that weaves together two complementary perspectives on Italian art, united by a shared commitment to excellence and rarity. This exhibition combines the connoisseurship of the Florentine antiquarian Bruno Botticelli in the field of sculpture with Alessandra Di Castro’s expertise in precious materials from the Renaissance to the 20th century. This exhibition concept aims to demonstrate how ancient works of art can occupy a prominent place in contemporary life, even through original choices that build upon the great Italian antiquarian tradition. Ten unique works in marble, wood, bronze and steel invite us to take a fresh look at the classical tradition that Rome and Florence have embodied at the highest levels over the centuries.
