Giovanna Vitelli, Chair of Azimut|Benetti Group
Giovanna Vitelli is the Chair of Azimut|Benetti, the largest luxury yachting group in the world, founded by Paolo Vitelli in 1969. Giovanna was born in Turin and graduated with honors in Law from the University of Turin.
Giovanna joined the Board of Directors of Azimut|Benetti in 2000 and subsequently became Vice President, overseeing R&D and the development of new models. She was closely involved in the push towards innovative propulsion solutions and the engagement of designers from beyond the yachting world.
She was appointed Chair of Azimut|Benetti in March 2023. In addition to her role at Azimut|Benetti, Giovanna sits on the Board of Directors of several companies, including Lusben Varazze Srl, Varazze Marina, Breithorn Srl, and Buzzi Unicem SpA. Giovanna sits on the executive committee of Boot Messe Düsseldorf, she is the Vice President of Sybass, and Vice President for the Altagamma Foundation.
Since 2018, she is Honorary Consul of Norway for Piedmont.
