Partner and Director, Bricklab
Abdulrahman Gazzaz is a partner at Bricklab, with a deep interest in combining design-oriented thoughts with an experimental approach that creates a somehow unique and meaningful set of unexpected projects. He has site specific interests where he takes on a collaborative approach towards certain processes while challenging preconceptions of existing architectural configurations. Gazzaz has overseen the design and delivery of a wide range of projects, including the inaugural Saudi Pavilion in Venice, part of the 16th Venice Architecture Biennale, Jax Creative District in Riyadh, and many other projects around the region. Abdulrahman has worked on master planning projects as a consultant through invited competitions from PIF and Misk City; additionally, Abdulrahman has given talks at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Giardini della Biennale in Venice, Somerset House in London, House of World Cultures in Berlin, Wadi Alfann Symposium in Alula amongst many international venues during his career. He has graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture & Planning from the University of the West of England in 2012 and is a member of the Saudi Council of Engineers.
