Access to the Fairgrounds
In this section you will find all the information on access to the Fiera Milano Rho Fairgrounds for exhibitors and staff who have to work on the stand in various capacities.
Free passes for set-up staff (fitters, manpower and means of transport included) can be requested via the “Accreditation for installers/vehicle details” section of the Fiera Milano Portal (https://espositore.fieramilano.it).
There is no limit to the number of this particular type of pass that may be requested.
As well as the above-mentioned passes, all members of the various set-up staff teams must be provided with:
- valid identity documents, including residence permits where applicable;
- company pass (see Art. 1.5 of the Fiera Milano Technical Regulations for further details);
- specific Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) both on the stands and inside the fairgrounds (protective helmets, safety jackets, high-visibility vests or jackets).
Please note that during installation operations, the ATS (Health Protection Agency) may carry out inspections and checks to check correct compliance with all safety requirements and the completeness of safety documentation required by law.
Where necessary, additional days for assembly/disassembly with respect to the set-up/take-down phase (also called advances and postponements), can be requested for a fee, subject to verification and agreements with the Fiera Milano Customer Service.
Access to Fiera Milano by private cars is only permitted for those in possession of parking permits and by means of the Access Gates indicated on the permits themselves.
In the “Exhibition Car Parking” section of the Fiera Milano Exhibitor Portal, passes can be bought online via the “Purchase in E-service” function, which allows parking permits to be requested for the duration of the trade fair, to which each exhibiting company is entitled according to the following: 1 parking permit for up to 349 m2, 2 parking permits for stands from 350 to 699 m2, 3 parking permits for stands over 700 m2
Once parking permits have been requested via the E-service, the car registration number needs to uploaded onto the “Trade Fair Parking” section of the Exhibitor Portal in order for the permit to be issued; please note that the assignment of parking permits is not immediate and therefore, once booked – it can take a few days before registration numbers can be uploaded (and therefore for the section to become “clickable”).
Car registration numbers may be uploaded at any point, however, even close to the event.
The same procedure can be adopted, depending on availability, for the purchase of further parking permits – at a further cost of €120,000 each.
Please note that parking permits, to which you are either entitled or have purchased, are not issued in relation to fixed positions: car parking spaces are not reserved for individual exhibiting companies which must, therefore, make use of the first free parking spaces available.
There is no provision for parking permits for agents’ or representatives’ vehicles.
Please not that as of the eve of the trade fair, parking permits can no longer be downloaded from the Exhibitor Portal, but must be requested from the “Car Parking” desk in the atrium of the Fiera Milano Services Centre.
For access by cleaning companies or various suppliers, the options are as follows:
- between 8.30/9.30am and 6.30/7pm, free permits bearing the names and registration numbers of vehicles belonging to cleaning companies or suppliers are available from Fiera Milan Customer Services;
- before 8.30am and after 7pm, paid permits are also available from Customer Services.
Stands may only be restocked during the course of the Exhibition if in possession of the access permit required to enter the exhibition centre and in compliance with the times laid down and communicated by Fiera Milano Customer Service. In the event of non-compliance with these provisions, Fiera Milano may order the withdrawal of the permit.
Any exceptions may only be granted for adequate reasons and upon presentation of a written request to be forwarded to the Customer Service.
In order to allow Exhibitors to replenish their stand stocks even at times other than normal refuelling hours, Fiera Milano will allow access to the hall with only hand luggage (excluding the use of trolleys).
Please see the following options for photo shoots during the trade fair period:
- photo shoots between 8.30am and 7pm: photographers must be in possession of “Exhibitor” passes (provided by the companies for which the shoot is being carried out);
- photo shoots before 8.30am and after 7pm: companies must apply for photographic permits (€131.00 per hour) from Fiera Milano Customer Services; photographic permits also include entry passes for photographers and their vehicles.
If a professional photographer is being used, they can apply for accreditation on the Salone del Mobile.Milano platform in order to be issued with a "Media&Press" card, allowing entry during the trade fair period.
Photo shoots involving the use of drones are allowed, on condition that they have been approved by the trade fair organisers, and only when the trade fair is closed and with the agreement of Fiera Milan Customer Services, with which dates and times must be agreed. The issue of paid permits (€131.00 per hour) is subject to compliance with the safety instructions and the production of compulsory documentation to Customer Services.
Relevant information will be available soon
As the Exhibition is a commercial event, children under 10 are not allowed to enter on the Trade days from Tuesday 8 to Friday 11 April 2025 included, as per the information published in the section “Visitor information”.
However, if the staff of exhibiting companies need to bring their children to the fair during the days of the Exhibition, they must complete and sign the release form to be requested to services@salonemilano.it and show it at the Gates or Cargo checks when entering the Faigroungs. Of course there are no costs to bear.
After the closing of the Exhibition, your company EXIT PASS must be shown to the security staff at the Fairgrounds gates when removing exhibited goods, display materials and all other items for which the Exhibitor is responsible.
The EXIT PASS can be downloaded from your company area in the Exhibitor Portal of Fiera Milano, under “Manage account statement and request Exit Pass” from the afternoon of Wednesday 9 April 2025.
The EXIT PASS in pdf format will be made available for download once the Exhibitor has paid the balance due and satisfied all the conditions of the contract stipulated and with Fiera Milano and Federlegno Arredo Eventi, and can be shown at the Fairgrounds gates also on smartphones and tablets.
