Affordable, versatile and responsible: with Bell Chair, Konstantin Grcic and Magis have developed a contemporary monobloc chair made entirely from recycled polypropylene.
The recycled polypropylene is obtained from the waste generated by Magis’ own furniture production and from that of the local car industry. The patented material excludes almost all “virgin or new” materials and can be recycled again 100% after use. This way, Bell Chair forms an almost closed material cycle.
When Magis started to work on this collection with Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, the idea was to work with an ancient fabrication process and give it a new visual language.
