TRICOT is a modular outdoor lounging system of radical spatial flexibility.
Its name — from the French tricoter, to knit — signals both its aesthetic and its ambition: a woven surface that mimics the rhythm and tactile depth of knitted fabric, carried across sculptural, continuously curved shells.
What sets TRICOT apart is the range of forms it can take. Individual elements form furniture modules that combine freely into sofas, L-shapes, U-shapes, daybeds or recliners — any configuration a setting demands, fully tailored and flexible. No fixed layout, no compromise: the collection shapes itself around people and place.
TRICOT was shaped by two forces: the centuries-old weaving expertise of the DEDON master weavers in the Philippines, and the open coastal landscapes where nature itself creates informal gathering — a bay that shelters, a dune that curves gently around you, a canopy that defines space without enclosing it.
The natural world gave the collection its palette and proportion. TRICOT channels that sensibility directly: its curved modules fit together to create a landscape within a landscape, drawing people inward. The natural hues — Oat Knit, a warm wheat-and-straw tone, and Haze Knit, a muted reed-like green-beige — echo this atmosphere: colors that belong under open skies, deepening and shifting as daylight moves across the knitted surface.
