The Milos collection is the result o f Vondom's first collaboration with French designer Jean-Marie Massaud. An example of ho w simplicity and functionality can be combined to create an elegant and comfortable outdoor furniture collection. Characterised by soft curves, this collection focuses on comfort.
The different pieces of Milos are like a collection of rocks delicately shaped by winds and waves that create a typical Mediterranean landscape. My intention was to bring non-Cartesian planning to Vondom that can be combined organically, like life on a cliff.
The inspiration for Milos is nature, and Massaud has succeeded in reflecting this through his choice of different materials and textures. Wood and polyurethane make up the modular sofa and the two differently designed armchairs that invite you to sit down and relax. Light-coloured concrete is combined with wood to form the low tables, which together with the rotomoulded planters, with a stucco finish, lend a rustic aesthetic to the whole.
