Serpentine Light

Category: Lighting

S is for Serpentine

The Serpentine Light brings the best of playfulness and lighting design together. Sofia Lagerkvist and Anna Lindgren, from Swedish design studio Front, came up with the idea for the Serpentine Light when playing with a piece of paper; discovering the limits of the different shapes it could adopt.

Serpentine Light by Front is an elegant suspension lamp with an airy design inspired by the twists and turns of paper. Its flowing, translucent form creates the illusion of an endless upward spiral, diffusing light evenly for a soft, natural glow.

The brand-new Serpentine Light by Front brings the best of playfulness and lighting design together. The suspension light comprises four S-shapes, made from a non-woven fabric, twisted into cones and fashioned together to create an intricate shape that keeps you guessing.
