Luisa Nannipieri was born and raised in a small town just outside Milan. She studied journalism in France, where she worked for more than 13 years. Now based between Paris and Milan, she has worked for several companies like Le Monde, Liberation, the Italian networks RAI and Radio Popolare, for whom she has a weekly column on graphic novels. Since 2016 she has been covering design, fashion, gastronomy and architecture news for the French monthly publication Afrique Magazine, contributing to put the spotlight on the talents of the continent and its diasporas.
